"Pokemon Emerald" is the updated version of "Pokemon Ruby" and "Pokemon Sapphire". While the game, by and large, is quite similar to the previous versions, it does feature a modified storyline and include a few new features. One of the more significant features is the addition of the Battle Frontier - a special area that is designed to provide players with some more challenging battles to test their skills after beating the game. For those having difficulty with the Battle Frontier or any other section of the game, Gameshark offers help. Here's how you can use Gameshark codes for the Gameboy Advance to make all of your Pokemon training much easier.

Instructions

  Insert your "Pokemon Emerald" game into the game slot of the Gameshark.

  Insert the Gameshark into the game slot of your Gameboy Advance.

  Make sure the switch on the Gameshark is set to "on" and then turn on your Gameboy Advance.

  Wait for the Gameshark menu to load and then select "Pokemon Emerald" from the list of games by moving the scroll arrow over the game title and pressing "B". This will bring up a list of cheats that are available for you to use in the game.

  Select the cheats you want to use in the game by moving the scroll arrow over the name of the cheat and then pressing "B" to highlight it.
