How to Use a GameShark for Gameboy Advance SP

The GameShark is a video game cheat cartridge, certain versions of which are designed for use with the Game Boy Advance Special (GBA SP) system. By using the GameShark, players can gain a distinct advantage in games because they are given access to certain abilities that would not otherwise be available to them.

Instructions

  Insert a GBA game into the game slot of your GameShark.

  Connect your GameShark to your GBA SP by inserting it into the game slot of the GBA SP system.

  Turn on your GBA SP and wait for the GameShark menu to load.

  Select the game you are playing from the GameShark menu. A list of available cheats for the game will appear below the title.

  Choose each individual cheat you want to use in the game by moving the selection arrow over the name of the cheat and pressing the "B" button.

  Press the "Start" button when you are ready to begin the game with the cheats you have selected.
