How to Use Saves for Action Replay Max

Insert the Action Replay Max device into Slot 1 of your PlayStation 2's memory card bay. Insert a PlayStation 2-compatible memory card into Slot 2.

Turn on your PlayStation 2 and insert the Action Replay Max disc. Select the disc from the console's main menu.

Select "Powersaves" from the Action Replay Max main menu.

Choose a source from which you want to download save games. If your PlayStation 2 is connected to the Internet, save-games can be downloaded from "Powersaves Online" (Codejunkies' own professional database), "Community Saves" (save-games submitted by fellow Action Replay Max users) or "AR Max Disc" (the disc supplied with your Action Replay Max). If you are not connected to the Internet, only the last option is available.

Browse to the name of the game you wish to download save-game files for and select it with the "X" button.

Choose the save-game file you wish to use in your game. The enhancements provided by save-game files--"Infinite Lives," "All Levels Unlocked" etc.--will be listed in the game name. Press "X" to confirm your choice.

Choose "Slot 2" to transfer your selected save-game to the memory card in Slot 2 of your PlayStation 2.

Reset your PlayStation 2 and remove the Action Replay Max disc. Insert the disc for the game you wish to play. Select "Load Game" from the game's menu to boot up your transferred save-game.
