How to Catch Darkrai in Pokemon Pearl

Darkrai is a figure in the Pokémon Pearl video games, as well as other Pokémon games and stories. Darkrai was first unveiled in 2007 and is a dark creature that sometimes appears as a shadow. In the Pokémon games, Darkrai creates nightmares and ensnares people into these nightmares. In Pokémon Pearl, people can only wake up from a Darkrai nightmare by being exposed to the Lunar Wing of Cresselia, which is a female counterpart to Darkrai.

Instructions

  Fly to Canalave City and walk down to the sailor who leads you to Iron Island. Do not speak with the sailor.

  Enter the house on the sailor̵7;s left where there will be a sick boy and his mother. Speak with the boy then return to the sailor who will lead you to Full Moon Island. Cresselia, Darkrai̵7;s counterpart, will be on the short path on Full Moon Island and will fly away, leaving the lunar wing behind.

  Pick up the lunar wing and take it back to the sick boy and speak with him. He will wake up from his nightmare. Leave the sick boy.

  Enter the Pokemart, and you will see a man wearing green next to the counter. Speak with him, and he will give you a Members Card. Fly to Canalave City and go north of the city center.

  Enter the Harbor Inn. You will be placed on a bed and brought to an island where Darkrai is waiting.

  Fight and capture or defeat Darkrai. This is a high-level task, so be prepared for it to be difficult. It may take several attempts. Darkrai may try to put your Pokemon to sleep, but Darkrai is not as effective against fighting Pokemon. Make sure you have lots of Pokeballs to throw at him and use a Speed Boost to get started. Hit Darkrai with as many special conditions as possible, including Confused, Asleep or Poisioned. Once his health bar is in the red, start throwing Pokeballs until you catch Darkrai.
