Things You'll Need
Instructions
Check that you are using the right codes. Because Action Replay DS maintains a database of every Nintendo DS game available, some codes may be filed under a different version of a game from the one you are using. For example, if you suspect you have lost the data for Pokemon Diamond, check to make sure the data has not been filed under Pokemon Pearl.
Make sure your Action Replay DS is not out of memory. If the memory of the device has been filled, codes may be inaccessible even though they have not been erased. If you receive a message that your Action Replay DS cannot function because of low memory, reset the device by inserting it into your Nintendo DS and holding "A," "B," "Start" and "Select" while you turn the system on. This will allow you to delete unwanted codes to free up space.
Reload your codes. If the codes have been permanently erased because of device failure or accidental deletion, connect Action Replay DS to your PC using the Action Replay USB cable. Insert the cartridge into your Nintendo DS and turn the system on. Open the Action Replay Code Manager program and click the "Software Upgrade" button in the top right corner of the window. Scroll down the left pane of the software until you find the codes that have been lost from your device. Copy these codes from the software's left pane into Action Replay DS' library in the lower right pane. Eject and remove the device to use your reloaded codes.
