Finish Him

• Having trouble finishing off Venom once and for all? The final strike against the black-suited Eddie Brock comes down to inputting the correct button sequence. Messing up the sequence will send Spider-Man flying backwards, and you'll be forced to replay a chunk of the battle. To end the battle once and for all, memorize the following button sequence: Up, A, Left, A, A, B, LB, X, LB, Y, RT. Entering this will defeat Venom and make Spider-Man the hero once more.

Arena Mode

• After you've completed one play through of Spider-Man 3 on the Xbox 360 you will unlock the Arena Mode. It is here that you will be forced to use every trick in Spider-Man's wall-crawling arsenal to complete the 14 challenges placed before you. The first three challenges in Arena Mode are based on endurance The first challenge will have you face 25 enemies, the second is 50, and the third is 75. You must defeat each foe, and there are no health refills. The final 11 missions will have Spider-Man face off against a number of foes while a timer ticks down. If you don't defeat every enemy in time, you'll lose the challenge. To quickly complete these challenges, build up your Special Attack meter by attacking foes with standard moves. Once your meter is filled, press RB and A at the same time to unleash a devastating special move which will make short work of your opponents with plenty of time left on the clock. Repeat this strategy for each challenge in the Arena Mode.

Achievements

• As any Xbox 360 owner can attest to, there is always a goal beyond finishing a game, and that is unlocking every achievement. Spider-Man 3 for the 360 is no different and offers 1,000 achievement points for gamers to unlock. Doing so will boost your score and your gamer clout among your fellow Xbox 360 owners, that is, assuming you can unlock them all. While defeating each boss in the game will unlock an achievement, there are others that can be a bit trickier. For example, if you want to unlock the Web Slinger achievement, you'll need to catch 25 enemies in your webbing. Complete this achievement early in the game where your foes are weaker and come at you in smaller numbers. Never pass up any of the Trick Races in the game as completing every one with a bronze ranking will unlock the Trick Novice achievement. For gamers who enjoy exploring New York outside of the main storyline, try to complete the side-missions offered to Spider-Man throughout the game. Stopping every crime spree, bank robbery and petty theft in the city will unlock an achievement for each type. Keep an eye on your radar and look for every opportunity to aid the citizens of New York and your gamer score will climb 1,000 points by the time you see the end credits of Spider-Man 3
