SIM City Super Nintendo Cheats

"Sim City" is a classic city-building simulation strategy game originally developed for the Commodore 64 with a slew of ports and sequels to come. The Super Nintendo port was developed by Nintendo and incorporated some of their own elements of gameplay (such as replacing Godzilla with Bowers in a monster disaster scenario.) Additionally there are some cheats to make your rise to megalopolis much easier.

$999,999
- One of the easiest ways to get ahead in SimCity is having access to easy money. Spend all of your money and wait until the end of the year. When the annual tax screen pops up at the end of December hold down the "L" button. Select "Go With Figures" and exit (while still holding down the "L" button.) Go back to the tax screen and turn all the figures to 100 percent. Exit and release "L" and you will instantly have $999,999. Repeat this as many times as you please.
Unlockables
- To unlock the Las Vegas scenario you have to beat the six game scenarios that start with the game. You will also need to have at least one saved game with a population over 100,000. After beating Las Vegas you will unlock the freeland map (a map without any water tiles.)
Debug Menu
- Start by loading or starting a new city. Go to the Save/Load menu and select "End". When the goodbye message appears press: "Left," "A," "Right," "Y," "Up," "B," "Down," "X," "Select," "Start," "Start," "Select," "R," "R," "L," "L." This will unlock the debug menu. Select the changes you want to make and change "Memory" to "Set" and reset the SNES. The changes will remain active.
