Cheat Codes

• To use a cheat code, select "VIP Mode" from the Main menu. Enter the desired code in the VIP name space. All cheat codes are case-sensitive and work on both the Playstation 2 and Xbox.

  BigTop: Players have oversized heads. This novelty cheat code does not enhance game play. It simply makes the players look goofy.

  CelebToy: Unlocks all bonus stadiums.

  CribMax: Receive all crib items.

  MadSkillz: Marks all milestones as complete.

  NewCover: Receive new playbooks.

  NOSShoes: Players move quicker.

  PhatBank: Receive 1 million crib points.

  WhooshTop: Unlocks the air hockey table.

Fantasy Staduims

• "NFL 2K5" has several fantasy stadiums that unlock when certain opponents are defeated during a celebrity game. Although there are no cheat codes to unlock these stadiums, it's helpful to focus your game play goals by knowing who you need to defeat to receive a desired stadium.

  Cheesesteak Dome stadium
  Defeat Jamie Kennedy.

  Electra Coliseum
  Defeat Carmen Electra.

  Funk Field
  Defeat Funkmaster Flex.

  Dream Superdome
  Defeat Steve-O.

  Loco Arena
  Defeat David Arquette

Other Tricks

• Win the coin toss:
  If you lose the coin toss at the start of a new game, press "Pause." Select "Rematch" from the menu. Try the coin toss again. You should win using this method in 95 percent of scenarios.

  Touchdown pose
  Make your player do a touchdown pose by slowing down before reaching the end zone. Your player stops at the one-yard line and does a pose before making the touchdown. This only works if no opponents are around you.

  Earn stats via auto-play
  Enter Franchise Mode and select "Gamecast Live." Have the computer simulate the game until the end of the fourth quarter. Take control of the game around the two-minute warning. When the game is over, all credits, stats and cash are credited to your account.

  Evade the salary cap requirement:
  Load your team's roster and select a third-string player. Edit all of his stats to 100. Change his name and slightly alter his appearance. The edited player will be ranked 100 overall, but still paid a low, third-string salary.

  Get good rookies during the draft:
  When it's your team's turn to chose a player, select "Exit The Draft" from the menu. Go to the "Coach's Desk" and select "ESPN.com." Select "Rookie Report." Select your favorite rookie and go to "Edit Player." Raise all stats to '99' and exit. Return to the draft. The edited rookie is now ranked "100 Overall" and is available for your team to pick.
