Hint for an Easy Win
Choose any person or country and go to "Scenarios." Then select "Lightning Round," setting the difficulty level to "Chieftain." After you've picked the person you wish to play, focus on upgrading your Tech score. It is important that you select technologies that require a minimum amount of research. This should advance your civilization very rapidly and lead to an easy win, so long as you avoid wars and sharing technology with other civilizations.
Tip for Tricking Knights
The artificial intelligence for "Civilization Revolution" automatically tells the knights to attack the weak spots in your city. Prepare for this and use it to your advantage by circling in behind the knights with your offensive troops, cutting their escape route. The knights will try to fight, but you should have the upper ground when on the attack.
Tips for Dealing with Catapults and Early Armies
Whenever an army equipped with a catapult comes near, do not flee in the opposite direction, as this will only play into their hands. Rather, remain near. Mass two of your offensive units two tiles away and allow the army and archers to close in, then attack. Because early armies can only have one movement per turn, they will be left defenseless for one turn. This will give you the advantage, and you will be able to push slowly but steadily into enemy territory. This works best if you have the upgrade that allows you to have an extra movement per turn, as you will be able to retreat and heal when necessary.
Nuclear Weapons Tip
When bombing a city with nuclear weapons, be sure to keep your troops at least two tiles away. If you fail to do this, your troops may very well be annihilated along with the enemy's city. Note, if the city is a capital, it will not be completely destroyed.
