How to Add Action Replay Codes to DS

Action Replay (AR) for the Nintendo Dual System (DS) is a hardware device that allows you to add cheat codes to play with your DS video games. On top of the preloaded cheat codes, you can also enter new cheat codes that are not listed on your AR. Adding those cheat codes is easy, but the codes are long and have to be entered exactly right to work.

Adding Action Replay Codes to DS

  Find the cheat code you want. Some of the best websites with Action Replay DS codes are cheatshappen.com and us.codejunkies.com. Search for the video game that you want the codes for, then search through all of the listed codes for that game.

  Connect the Action Replay to the Nintendo DS cartridge slot and turn on the DS. The normal DS booting will be interrupted and you will be brought to the AR menu.

  Click on the video game you want to add codes to. Press the "Add Code" option and insert the cheat codes into the space provided. Each code has to be a multiple of 16, because every cheat code line has 16 possible letters/numbers and each code has to fill up a line. After you are done, press the "Save" button.

  Go to the code you just added. Highlight it and press the A button. The Action Replay code should now be added to your Nintendo DS.
