Mystery Case Files Prime Suspect Cheats

"Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects" is one in a series of "Mystery Case Files" games created for the PC. To play the game, it must be installed on a computer with at least Windows 98, 2000 or XP. The object, as with all the games in the series, is to search the scenes for hidden objects. Once the objects are found in the room, the player must then solve puzzles to advance to a higher level. The last puzzle to solve in the game is the most difficult and sends people looking for cheats to finish the game.
  1. Tips

    • The message found on the tenement refers to a clue given earlier in the game ̶0;Always move toward the last place you started̶1; tells players to slide a gem toward the last move they made. Once the gem is placed on the ground, the gem will slide into the correct position.

A good thing about "Mystery Case Files: Prime Suspects" is that you can always return to the scenes and search for more clues. If you can̵7;t find all the clues in a particular location, move on and come back to that location later. Once you have searched the other locations for clues and are left with one or two items to find, you can return to the scene and find the clues using the ̶0;Hint̶1; option to find the prime suspect.

    Jewel Box Hint

    • The jewel box must be opened in a particular pattern. The following sequence will open the box: Counting from top to bottom 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., place the jewel in the No. 1 spot into the No. 4 spot. Place the jewel in the No. 7 spot and place it in the No. 4 spot. Take the jewel in the No. 3 spot and place it into the No. 6 spot. Remove the jewel from the No. 8 spot and place it into the No. 3 spot. Move the jewel in the No. 7 spot to the No. 2 spot and the No. 5 spot to the No. 2 spot. Next, move the jewel in the No. 8 spot to the No. 5 spot. The jewel box is now open.

    Tree Names

    • Ten tree names that you will have to find in the word search puzzle are the following: Hazelnut, Walnut, Willow, Elm, Pine, Chestnut, Birch, Sumac, Pecan and Maple.

    Turn On the Lights!

    • In one scene the object is to find all of the items given, but the area is dark. You will need to find a battery for the flashlight (one of the items on the list you search for) in order for the room to light up. The batteries are not on the list of items, so players will not know to find batteries and use the flashlight.
