One great book is Cheat Code Overload. It's one of the few cheat codes books that is published quarterly to stay current.
The next step to getting that cheat code is to use a search engine. Enter the name of the game and the game console to see what codes are out there, and if one will work for you. Google or Yahoo should be able to discover something that you could utilize to advance your game.
