Perfect Skills
There are a number of skills, like grinding on rails or manualing (wheelies), which you can do for only a limited time before your skater falls off. However, if you go to the options menu, then go to "Cheats" and enter the case-sensitive code "grindXpert," you will never fall off while grinding. Enter the code "2wheels!" and you'll never fall off while manualing.
Unlimited Special
Each character has a special move that is worth many more points than standard moves, but you must build up to it first by completing standard tricks; then, once you have "special points," the special moves last for only a few seconds. To unlock unlimited special points, allowing you to perform as many special moves as you please, go to the "Cheats" option off the start menu and enter the code "uronfire."
Hidden Characters
There are numerous skaters (and a biker) you can play as, but only by entering a specific code under on the cheats menu or completing a task in the game. To unlock Jason Ellis, either enter the code "sirius-DJ" or beat the game's story mode on the Normal difficulty level. To unlock Mat Hoffman, enter the code "the_condor" or beat the game's Classic mode on at least the Hard difficulty level. To unlock Mindy, beat the game's story mode on Easy mode or enter the code "help1nghand."
Other Bonus Skaters
These bonus skaters are typically minor characters from the game that you can unlock by completing various tasks. To unlock Baller, complete 100 percent of the game, including story mode and every mission. This will also unlock characters like Billy Joe, Camera Guy, Cholo, Iggy, the Graffiti Dude, Master Zen, the Oil Rig Worker and the Welder. To unlock Barber, complete all of the Skate Ranch missions as well as collecting all 43 Skate Ranch Pieces. This also unlocks the Carnival Worker and the French Man.
Hidden Movies
Hidden movies will be available to watch from the main menu after completing various tasks. To unlock the Pro Bails 1 movie, which shows skaters failing at tricks, complete the game's Classic mode on the Normal difficulty setting. You can unlock the Pro Bails 2 movie by achieving 100 percent completion in the game's story mode, which also unlocks the American Wasteland Final movie. Finally, to unlock the Neversoft Skates movie, achieve 100 percent completion in the game's Classic mode.
