Cheats for Metroid Prime for GameCube

Thardus Battle Hiding Place

• Thardus will attack you by rolling into you, but you can stand in a place where the rock monster cannot harm you. Walk past the platform, turn right and stand between the wall and the metal beam. You cannot be hurt in this spot. Step out to fire at Thardus and then step back in when it rolls at you. You will defeat the enemy with perfect health.

Space Jump without Items

• Stand on the right side of the back of the ship. Use your scan visor and lock on to the spidervine near the door to the impact crater. Dash to your right and stop locking after the dash. You will continue moving to the right until you end up on the ledge next to the space jump, saving you the time and bother of collecting items.

Unlock Content

• Complete the game once to unlock Hard mode. Scan half of the creature and research data to unlock image gallery 1. Gather at least half of the items to view the second image gallery. Collect every item on the game to unlock image gallery 3. For the fourth image gallery, complete the game on Hard mode.

Play Original "Metroid" with Cheats

• If you own and have completed "Metroid Fusion" for the Game Boy Advance, then connect your Game Boy to the GameCube with a Gameboy Advance link cable. Make sure "Metroid Prime" is in your GameCube. You can now play the original "Metroid" from 1986 through your copy of "Metroid Prime." Plenty of cheats exist for "Metroid." Access them by pressing "Z" at the main menu and then entering one of the following codes:

  Enter "999999 999999 KKKKKK KKKKKK" to play in Hard mode.

  Enter "000000 000000 0Fy000 00003-" to begin the game with 255 missiles.

  Enter "000000 000000 080000 0000Y8" to start the game with an ice beam.

  Enter "000000 000000 040000 0000X8" to begin the game with a wave beam.

  Enter "mMuiS1 II6-GE Jls?h0 m00WRM" to play with a suitless Samus equipped with every weapon.
