How to Get a Tails Chao From an Action Replay in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on Gamecube

Action Replay is a device produced for several video game consoles and hand-held systems that allows you to activate pre-loaded cheat codes to gain access to special features in certain games. A majority of games work with the Action Replay device, including "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" for Nintendo GameCube. Using an Action Replay, you can unlock the Tails Chao, a very rare Chao that you can only attain by using the Action Replay, in the Chao garden in "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle."

Instructions

- 1
  Open the GameCube disc compartment and insert the Action Replay disc. Plug in a GameCube controller into controller port 1.

  Shut the disc compartment and turn the system on.

  Scroll through the list of countries on the Action Replay menu using the joystick on controller 1. Highlight your country and press the "A" button.

  Scroll through the list of games on the Action Replay menu using the joystick on controller 1. Highlight "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" and press the "A" button.

  Input the following codes, using the joystick to select each letter or number on the onscreen keyboard, pressing "A" after each:

  Press the "Start" button on the controller. The Action Replay will instruct you to insert the game.

  Open the GameCube disc compartment, with the system still turned on. Remove the Action Replay disc and insert the "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" game disc. Do not reset or turn the system off.

  Close the disc compartment to start the game with the Action Replay cheat loaded.
