Spider-Man's Wrestling Costume
In the first Spider-Man movie you notice Spider-Man wearing a red ski mask, blue pants and a sweater with an airbrushed Spider-Man logo on it when Peter Parker decides to make a costume for his new-found abilities. If you want to obtain this costume in the video game, you'll need to complete 30 city mission events and find 30 city tokens.
Peter Parker Costume
The Peter Parker costume is exactly what it sounds like: not a costume at all. It's just normal Peter Parker. However, in the game, the standard costume is the traditional Spider-Man costume, so this is an alternate outfit. If you don't really care at all about characters in the game seeing your secret identity, you can unlock this costume by finding 50 tokens throughout the city, finishing 50 city mission events and completing the fifth Human Torch race against Johnny Storm.
Peter Parker Hoodie
In the Spider-Man mythos, Peter Parker sometimes had to hide his identity when he doesn't have his costume handy. He does this by wearing a simple hoodie to mask who he really is. To obtain this costume hoodie, simply find 75 tokens through the city, finish 75 city mission events and finish eight combat tours.
Arachnoman Costume
This costume is really similar to the traditional Spider-Man costume in a lot of ways, but is distinguished by its bug eyes and lack of the spider web pattern. To obtain this costume you need to find 90 tokens throughout the city, finish 90 mission events and finish 20 combat mission tours.
Black Symbiote Costume
This costume is the popular black costume that later turns Spider Man into Venom. It's all black with no pattern except a white spider logo on it. To obtain this holy grail of all costumes, find 190 tokens in and around the city, finish 100 city missions, finish 36 combat mission tours and obtain medals in each race in the game.
Unlock all Costumes
If you don't want to put any work into finding tokens and completing missions, enter this combination on the control pad: right, down, right, down, left, up, left, right. The costumes should unlock automatically.
