How to Get Brown Kirby in Kirby: Air Ride

̶0;Kirby's Air Ride̶1; for the Nintendo GameCube is a racing game featuring the characters from the Kirby game series. Three different modes are present within the game, and completing challenges in each mode unlocks additional characters for the game. One character is Brown Kirby, a color-swapped version of the titular character. To unlock Brown Kirby, you must complete one task in each mode of play. Once done you can use Brown Kirby in the Air Ride, Top Ride and City Trials by highlighting Kirby and pressing ̶0;X̶1; on the character select screen to change his color.

Instructions

  1. Air Ride

    • 1

      Choose Sky Sands from the list of available courses in the Air Ride mode. Choose the Heavy Star as your cart and begin the race.

      Follow the course until you leave the tunnel and then turn your cart into the final pile of sand located on the right. This will send you on a shortcut through the track.

      Jump onto the crab to boost again and stay on the inside of each turn on the track.

      Finish one lap in under one minute and five seconds to unlock Brown Kirby in Air Ride mode.

    Top Ride

      Select the Sky Course from the list of tracks in the Top Ride menu. Set the CPU level to five and press ̶0;A̶1; to accept.

      Start the race and when you reach the first jump panel, press ̶0;A̶1; to launch into the air and activate the moving island. This will cause all the conveyor belts on the track to move more quickly.

      Maneuver your racer into each jump panel and conveyor belt to speed through the track. Finish in first place to unlock Brown Kirby for use in this mode.

    City Trial

      Choose the Drag Race 2 from the Drag Race Stadium in the City Trial mode. Choose the Winged Star as the cart you will use to compete.

      Hug the left side of the track during the entire race. The first split in the track will curve outward while the second split is a straight line.

    • 10

      Hit the boost panel after the second split to finish the race faster.

    • 11

      Complete the challenge in under 29 seconds and you will unlock Brown Kirby.
