All cheats in "Shrek 2" can be entered by first pressing the "Start" button to pause the game, then going to the Scrapbook menu to enter the cheats. Most cheats require you to press a mixture of letter and directional buttons in rapid succession. "Left," "Right," "Up" and "Down" should be entered using the directional pad (D-pad) on the controller rather than the joystick.
There are four cheats in "Shrek 2." One gives you 1,000 gold coins, which can be used to buy potions that refill health and a variety of other items to help your characters along their way. To enter the gold coin cheat, press the combination "Left," "Up," "A" and "X" three times, then press the "X" button five times.
Another cheat unlocks all the bonuses, which normally have to be unlocked by completing certain parts of the game. Unlockable bonuses consist of mini games and other characters. To enter this cheat, press the combination "Left," "Up," "A" and "X" three times, then press the combination "Y" and "X" three times.
The third cheat unlocks all levels in the game. This lets you play any level you want right away, rather than having to play through all the previous levels to get to a specific one. To unlock all the levels, press the combination "Left," "Up," "A" and "X" three times, then press "Up" on the directional pad five times.
The last cheat refills the health of all your characters, which can be a lifesaver in emergency situations. Press the combination "Left," "Up," "A" and "X" three times, then "Up," "Right," "Down," "Left" and "Up" to enter this cheat.
