Instructions
Play through the Ice Cavern until you reach a large room with five silver rupees. These rupees are scattered around the room, and you need to collect all five of them to open a gate to the next area. You'll also find a large blue block that you can push around this room. After you push it, it will keep sliding on the icy floor until it hits something solid. If it falls into one of the large holes around the edges of the room, the block will instantly reappear where you originally found it.
Push this block to the left, and it will slide until it stops against a raised rock. Climb up onto the block, and then climb onto the raised rock to pick up the first silver rupee. You climb up onto objects by pushing the control stick toward the object that you'd like to climb, and then pressing "A" to jump.
Push the blue block to the north, and it will rest against another raised rock. Climb up onto the blue block, and then climb onto the raised rock to get the second silver rupee. Look to the right, and you'll see another rupee on a lower raised rock. Jump up onto this rock to get the third silver rupee.
Push the large blue block to the east, and then push it south. It will come to rest against another raised rock. Climb up onto the blue block, and then up onto the rock to get the fourth silver rupee. Push the blue block into one of the large holes in this area to get it to reappear where you originally found it.
Push the blue block to the north, and then push it to the east. It will rest up against the wall. Climb up onto the blue block, and then into the opening in the wall. The last silver rupee will be here inside of a red block of ice. Press "Start" to bring up your inventory, and then scroll through the pages until you see the bottles with Blue Fire in them. Blue Fire is all over the place in this dungeon, and you will have used it several times to reach this room, so go back and refill your bottles if you don't have any already.
Press either "X," "Y" or "Z" to assign the Blue Fire bottle to that button. Exit out of the inventory screen, and then press that button while standing next to the red block of ice. The ice will melt, so pick up the last silver rupee. This will also cause the locked gate to open. Drop down and push the blue block into a hole again to cause it to reappear in its original position.
Push the blue block west, north, east, south and west. Jump up onto the block, jump up again and go through the open gate. Defeat the two enemies you encounter, and then use Blue Fire at the end of the hallway to clear the obstruction. Go straight ahead through the door, and you'll start a fight with a large wolf.
Press the "L" button once to target the wolf and hold the "R" button down to bring your shield up. Wait for the wolf to attack you, and then press "A" to attack. He will block your attacks if you just try to attack him without first blocking his attack. Attack him a few times right after he attacks you until he is defeated, and a large chest will appear. Open the chest to receive the Iron Boots.
