How to Use a GBA As a USB Pelican Controller

Nintendo Game Cube and GameBoy Advance devices were developed to be used together with the proper linking cable. When linked, the Nintendo GameBoy Advance acts as an additional Game Cube controller. While the GameBoy Advance can be used as a Game Cube controller, not all Game Cube games are compatible with the GameBoy Advance linking. There are a few different manufacturers of the GBA linking cables, including Nintendo itself, and the Pelican GBA linking cable can be found at video game retail stores around the world.

Instructions

    • 1

Remove any game cartridge that is inside of the Gameboy Advance.

    • 2

Connect the linking cable to the top of the Gameboy Advance.

    • 3

Connect the other end of the cable to the Game Cube controller port on the front of the Game Cube.

    • 4

Turn the Game Cube on, followed by the Gameboy Advance. The Gameboy Advance can now be used as a Game Cube controller.
