How to Get Into the Locked Door on the Second Floor of Luigi's Mansion

̶0;Luigi̵7;s Mansion̶1; is a video game for the Game Cube, and is one of the only games in the ̶0;Mario̶1; franchise that stars Mario̵7;s brother, Luigi. Armed with his trusty ̶0;Poltergust 3000,̶1; and a flashlight that stuns ghosts, Luigi must make his way through a haunted mansion filled with Boos in search of his brother, who has gone missing. At the beginning of the game, the large door that allows Luigi to enter the second floor is locked. You must unlock this door to progress in the game.

Instructions

     Start a new game of ̶0;Luigi̵7;s Mansion.̶1; Watch the cutscene until Luigi enters the mansion. You are now in control of Luigi.

     Press ̶0;A̶1; to call for Mario.

   • 3

     Walk up the main stairs and try to open the door on the second floor by pressing ̶0;A.̶1; The door is locked.

   • 4

     Go back down the stairs. A spirit will drop a key.

   • 5

     Return to the large door on the second floor. The door will now open.
