How to Get Items Back From the Vulture in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

In "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask," the main character, Link, must save the planet from a falling moon that is destined to hit after 72 hours. Link must complete quests and go back in time repeatedly to prevent the planet's destruction. The vulture in "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" is a large bird called a Takkuri. The Takkuri works for an item shop and attempts to steal items from Link for resale. The Takkuri flies around Termina Field, waiting to swoop down and attack Link. If the Takkuri manages to attack Link, it steals items such as potions or Link's sword. There are a few ways to get the stolen items back -- one results in a loss of rupees and the other results in a loss of progress.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter West Clock Town from Termina Field. Turn right and walk past the shops until you reach the last shop on your right, which is the Curiosity Shop.

    • 2

Enter the Curiosity Shop and press "A" to speak to the shopkeeper. Scroll through the items with the directional stick until you locate your items. Press "A" to select and confirm your purchase.

    • 3

Play the "Song of Time" on your ocarina to return to the first day at dawn. Any uncompleted dungeons will reset, so only do this if you cannot afford to buy the items back from the shop. Link loses rupees, keys and other minor items collected since the last game save.
