How to Get Mr. Game and Watch in Melee

"Super Smash Bros. Melee" is a video game for the Gamecube and the second game in the Super Smash Bros franchise started with "Super Smash Bros." for the Nintendo 64. The game allows the user to battle their favorite Nintendo video game characters against each other with an assortment of items pulled from various games. One of the main goals of the game is to unlock secret characters. Mr. Game and Watch is a mascot character for a series of games released by Nintendo in the eighties. He can be unlocked in one of two ways.

Instructions

One-player Adventure

  Unlock all other unlockable characters including MewTwo.

  Play through the one-player Adventure mode with every single character, including those that had to be unlocked. There are no level or stock requirements for unlocking Mr. Game and Watch, so you are able to beat the one-player mode with every character set on Easy and the largest available stock.

  Play through the one-player Classic mode with every character. There are no level or stock prerequisites.

  Defeat Mr. Game and Watch in a match when he appears after you have completed one-player Adventure mode with the last of all the available characters.
Target Test

  Unlock all of the characters including MewTwo if you have not already done so.
- 6
  Beat the Test Target challenge for every character.
- 7
  Defeat Mr. Game and Watch in a match when he appears after you have completed the Target Test with the last available character.
