How to Get Past the Miasma Gate in Crystal Chronicles

In "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles," the world is covered by a thick, poisonous toxin known as miasma. Your village is protected by a substance called myrrh. Each year, you must leave the village to collect fresh drops of myrrh. Sections of the world are separated by gates called miasma streams. To pass through them to the other side, your crystal chalice's element must be the same as the stream's. If the chalice's element is different, you must change it to get through the stream.

     Take note of the miasma stream's current element. The name of the element, wind, water, fire or water, is listed on the world map. The element changes every year.

     Select a level that you have already played and completed from the world map. Select "Change Element" and then select the element that matches the element of the miasma stream.

     Enter the miasma stream. Hold your crystal chalice as you walk through the miasma unharmed. Leave the stream through the exit on the other side of the path.
