How to Find the Fishing Encyclopedia 1 on Harvest Moon

In "Harvest Moon: Magical Melody," you will unlock the Flower Bud Library during mid-spring of Year 1. You have access to seven shelves of books in this library. Some of the books that are available on these shelves change every season. All year round, you can find four encyclopedias about fish on the first shelf. The first book in this series is the Fishing Encyclopedia 1. This book contains information about Cureall, a river fish.

  Wait until the Flower Bud Library is unlocked during mid-spring. Go to the Flower Bud Library on any day except Mondays and holidays. Make sure you visit from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The address of the Flower Bud Library is 4-4 Flower Bud, north of the seashore.

  Listen to Maria the Librarian introduce you to the Flower Bud Library. She will return to the counter afterward. Walk up to the first shelf, which is in the upper-left corner of the Library.

  Press "A" while standing before the shelf. A list of the four books available on the shelf will show up on your screen. By default, the cursor will be hovering over "Fishing Encyclopedia 1" because it's the first book. Press the "A" button to read the book.
