Things You'll Need
Instructions
Load the "Wii Homebrew" application on the Wii. Press "A" and select "Load" on the "Homebrew Browser."
Click on the "Utilities" tab. Scroll down until you find the "GameCube Saver" application, and click on the "Download" link. Once the download completes, exit out of the application and return to the main Wii menu.
Remove the SD card, and insert it into your computer.
Go to "My Computer" and double-click on the SD card to load the root folder.
Right-click and select "Make New Folder." Label the folder "gc_saves."
Drag and drop your GameCube saved file into the "gc_saves" folder. You can convert only one saved game file at a time. Make sure the file has the extension .GCI -- the common GameCube save file extension.
Right-click on the saved file, and select "Rename." Choose a random letter to rename the file -- for example, "C.GCI."
Remove the SD card, and insert it back into the Wii. Load the Homebrew Channel again.
Select the "GameCube Saver" application, then select "Load."
Insert a GameCube memory card into "Slot 1" on the top of the Wii. Press "A" to copy the file to "Slot A." Wait for the transfer to complete, and then the Wii will automatically restart.
Load the GameCube game on the Wii, and test the saved game file.
