How to Catch Jirachi in Pokemon

According to Pokemon Legends, Jirachi is a rare Pokemon that awakens for only seven days every one thousand years. During this time period, Jirachi can grant any wish. Those who pre-ordered a copy of "Pokemon Colosseum" also received the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc. You can use the Bonus Disc to download Jirachi to "Pokemon Sapphire" or "Pokemon Ruby." Other than through a Nintendo Event, this is the only way you can legitimately get Jirachi without cheating.

    • 3

Save your game in a Pokemon Center. Power off your Game Boy Advance and your GameCube. Hook up your GameCube and your Game Boy Advance with the GameCube to Game Boy Advance Link Cable.

    • 4

Power on your GameCube. On the main menu, select "Jirachi Special Gift," which is the second option. Press "A" to confirm that you used the Link Cable to connect your GameCube with the Game Boy Advance. Select "Yes" to verify that you have a free space in your party in "Pokemon Sapphire" or "Pokemon Ruby."

    • 5

Turn on your Game Boy Advance. The GameCube will communicate with the GameBoy Advance to send the Jirachi to "Pokemon Sapphire" or "Pokemon Ruby." After about 15 seconds, the download will complete. Check your party in "Pokemon Sapphire" or "Pokemon Ruby." You will see a Level 5 Jirachi in the last slot.
