How to Get to the Butlers Room in Luigi's Mansion

In "Luigi's Mansion," players guide Luigi through a haunted mansion, where they suck ghosts into a vacuum pack. The mansion features dozens of rooms, most of which feature their own puzzles. The Butler's Room is the home of a peevish ghost named Shivers. In order to get into it, the player first needs the key to the Laundry Room, which requires the player to get the Fire Medal.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel south down the main hall until you can't go any further south. Head a little east and enter the Fortune Teller's Room.

  Walk east to enter the Mirror Room. Inside, you'll find several ghosts. You cannot see their actual forms, but you can see their reflections. Use the mirrors to spot them, and then suck them up with the vacuum. Once you have defeated all of them, the Fire Medal will appear on the floor. Take it.

  Return to the Fortune Teller's Room and use the Fire Medal on each of the candles. This causes a key to appear in the middle of the room. Take it.

  Exit the Fortune Teller's Room and walk west. At the end of the hallway, you'll find a locked door. Open it with the key and head inside to enter the Laundry Room.

  Enter the door to the south, which leads to the Butler's Room.
