How to Break the Pink Shield in Bionicle the Game for GC

"Bionicle" is a video game based on the LEGO Bionicle toy line. "Bionicle" was released for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox consoles, as well as Windows and Macintosh computers. At the end of the game, the player faces the final boss Makuta, who must be defeated in several phases. During one of those phases, Makuta is protected by a pink invincibility shield that reflects all attacks.

Instructions

- 1
  Enter Phase 2 of the encounter when the ground breaks, sending you, the boss, and some rock platforms falling into a deep pit. Makuta then generates his pink invincibility shield.

  Jump from platform to platform until you reach one of the four electrified plates. When you step on the plate, it becomes nonelectrical, weakening the shield.

  Reach all four plates and the shield disappears.
- 4
  Reflect Makuta's energy attack with your shield. He electrifies the plates and regenerates his shield, and some of the platforms disappear, making it more difficult to move around safely.
- 5
  Jump to the four plates again, and the shield vanishes for good.
- 6
  Reflect the boss's attacks with your own shield to stun him and expose the weak point on his head, which you can target with your attacks. Repeat this step until he is defeated.
