How to Get the Orbs to Get in the Temple in Star Fox Adventures

The orbs in the various temples in "Star Fox Adventures," released for the Nintendo

Game Cube in 2002, are not inventory items. In fact, they are switches that are used to open doors and complete puzzles in the temples. Of course, the activation method for the orbs can be a puzzle in and of itself.

     Dispatch any enemies in the room, then switch to your fire-blaster weapon.

   • 2

     Watch the torches in the room. You will notice that they change colors.

   • 3

     Shoot the orb with your fire-blaster when the torch flame is the same color as the orb. This will activate the orb and allow you to proceed.
