How Do You Get the Game and Watch Stage in Super Smash Bros. Melee?

A fixture from the 1980s, Mr. Game &Watch was seemingly phased out in the 1990s. Lost but not forgotten, Nintendo brought him back in "Super Smash Bros. Melee" for the Nintendo GameCube, along with his own stage named Flat Zone. To unlock Flat Zone as a playable stage, you must first unlock all the characters, including Mr. Game &Watch. After successfully completing the game with him, you will have access to Flat Zone.

Instructions

  Unlock Mr. Game &Watch by defeating 1-P mode with each hidden and regular character in the game. After killing Master Hand with the last character, Mr. Game &Watch will appear. Defeat him and he will join your team as a playable character.

  Click "1-P Mode" from the main menu. Choose Mr. Game &Watch as your character. Set the difficulty to "Easy" and the "Stock" to the maximum limit.

  Begin 1-P mode and fight your way to Master Hand. After putting an end to Master Hand, a screen will appear and inform you the Flat Zone stage has been unlocked.
