How to Get Better Eggs in SA2B

When you start raising Chao in "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle," (SA2B) you are given two starter eggs with which to work. From these basic eggs come normal-type Chao. These tiny, virtual pets spend their childhood with an opaque blue body and a yellow belly, then change color and shape as they grow. If you want a Chao with different effects, you need to buy other types of eggs. Rare and special eggs are found in the Black Market. With these eggs, you can have Chao that are shiny or a color not found in nature.

Instructions

  Play any stage in Story mode and gather as many rings as possible. To purchase eggs, you need at least 400 rings. Complete the stage to add the rings you have gathered to your total bank.

  Enter the Chao Garden lobby by selecting its icon on the map. Walk into the Chao Kindergarten area on the left side of the room.

  Turn around and face the locker against the wall. Press "A" to open the locker and enter the Black Market.

  Select "Eggs" to see all the eggs on offer. The selection of eggs changes periodically. If you do not see the egg you want, leave the Chao Garden and complete a few more stages. Return and check the Black Market stock again.

  Press "A" to exchange the specified amount of rings for the egg. When you exit the Black Market, you are holding the egg. Take it to the Chao Garden to hatch it.
