How Do I Get the Johto Starters When I Beat the 100 Battles on Pokemon XD?

Conquering Mt. Battle in "Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness" is tough, but worth it to win one of the Johto Starter Pokemon. You will be given a choice between Totodile, Chikorita and Cyndaquil as a reward if you can win 100 consecutive Pokemon battles on Mt. Battle with the same team of monsters. The road is long and your opponents become more difficult as you beat them, but the prize makes the trial worthwhile.

Instructions

  Raise a team of six Pokemon to level 70 or higher. The final trainer's Pokemon are at level 70 on Mt. Battle, so you will need a comparable team. A high level team will make many of the early challenges very easy to conquer.

  Make sure your team is balanced so you can handle a variety of enemy Pokemon types. Overlap the strengths and weaknesses of your monsters so you will be ready for anything. Each Pokemon should be a different elemental type and should know a variety of moves. An example of a balanced team would be Nidoking, Crawdaunt, Grumpig, Raticate, Pinsir and Aggron.

  Keep the same six Pokemon in your team for the entire challenge. Exchanging Pokemon from the PC in the break areas will void the Johto Starter Pokemon prize. Do not leave Mt. Battle or you will have to start the challenge again. Choose between the three Johto Starters after beating all 100 Pokemon Trainers. Choose wisely, because the other two will become unavailable in your game.
