Super Smash Bros. Melee
"Super Smash Bros. Melee" is regarded by GameSpot as the one of the best fighting games of all time. The game is a sequel to the hit N64 game "Super Smash Bros." and features fast-paced fighting with iconic Nintendo characters as the combatants. The game has two single-player modes designed to be replayed multiple times in order to unlock all of the game's hidden characters and levels. The real attraction of this game is its multiplayer mode, which lets four friends go at it in an all-out brawl.
Resident Evil 4
"Resident Evil 4" is a survival horror game that was one of the few GameCube games to garner an M (Mature) rating. The game follows Leon S. Kennedy as he attempts to rescue the president's daughter, who has been kidnapped and brought to a remote Spanish village. The game has a lengthy and replayable main story that upon completion unlocks new guns to buy, alternate outfits and the Mercenaries mini-game. Mercenaries drops you in a level and gives you a limited amount of time to kill as many enemies as you can. Higher scores unlock new characters and levels.
Tales of Symphonia
"Tales of Symphonia" is a role-playing game released for the GameCube in 2004. The game follows Lloyd Irving and his friends as they attempt to restore their world's lost mana. The game has a battle system that lets you fight enemies using a hack n' slash style of gameplay as opposed to the more traditional turn-based battle system. The meaty main story spans over 40 hours, not counting the myriad side quests and mini-games.
