Search the "Station Square" Field for emblems. Head to the second floor of Station Square's train station. Strafe the wall's edge to reach a platform seated above the station's entrance to find the emblem. Go to the "Casinopolis" area near the alleyway where "Ice Stone" resides, flying upward to reach the next emblem. Enter the Town Hall burger shop's hallway to get the third emblem; go through the town hall's gate, head right and attack the grass to reveal Station Square's last emblem.
Go to the "Mystic Ruins" Field to find Tails' Workshop near Mystic Ruins station; go left to find a cliff and use Sonic's "Spindash" to jump high enough to reach a emblem. Cross the bridge to the Shrine area, heading left and then straight to find a tunnel; glide through to reach the emblem. Go to the Jungle area, jump down a ladder and head right to take the next emblem. Fly to "Big the Cat's" house and land inside for an emblem, using Tails' flying ability to reach the top.
Go to "Egg Carrier" Field platform where you previously fought the Chaos 6 boss; enter the furthest cannon and break the crate inside to get the emblem. Fly to the bridge's top to a large circular platform to grab the emblem resting at its center. Head to the Egg Carrier's pool room, fly to the far-end platform and grab the emblem. Go to Dr. Eggman's bedroom in the Egg Carrier headquarters and press a switch to reveal an emblem behind his bed.
Play through each action stage within the game to receive three emblems for each one. The stages "Emerald Coast," "Windy Valley," "Casinopolis," "Icecap," "Twinkle Park," "Speed Highway," "Red Mountain," "Sky Deck," "Lost World" and "Final Egg" feature requirements players must meet to receive three emblems for each stage. Win each emblem by breaking the capsule at the end of a stage, getting 50 rings and breaking the same capsule or finishing each stage under five minutes.
Use different characters to complete each action stage. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Big the Cat, E-102 Gamma and Super Sonic each earn emblems upon completing a stage. The available playable characters all earn three emblems per stage, while special characters like Super Sonic only earn one. Earn the emblems by completing each action stage under five minutes, collecting certain items without in-game hints and defeating the game's boss characters within the time limit.
Complete the challenges for the "Sky Chase" stages by accumulating 800 points in Act One and over 20000 points in Act Two to get its respective emblems. Press the "B" button to lock-on to several clusters of enemies to get as many points in Act Two as possible.
Finish each "Sand Hill," "Twinkle Circuit" and "Hedgehog Hammer" stage challenge in "Trial Mode." Complete the entire Sand Hill course and score over 10000 points by gliding through several sets of the red gates to get both emblems. Clear each "Twinkle Circuit" challenge with any character to get the first emblem; finish the stage a second time with a high score to win the second. Get the first "Hedgehog Hammer" emblem by clearing the stage with a high score and beat that high score to get the second emblem.
Compete for "Chao" emblems by entering the Chao Races found in the "Chao Garden." Feed your Chao animals gathered from the action stages to raise its statistics. Each Chao has five statistics to raise: "Swim," "Fly," "Run," "Power" and "Stamina." Increase each statistic to give your Chao a great advantage during each race. Enter your Chao in all five "Jewel" races to win each corresponding emblem.
