How to Get a Train Ticket on Paper Mario

Released in 2004 for the Nintendo Gamecube, "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" is the second game in the "Paper Mario" franchise, which features a 2D version of the iconic plumber in a role-playing adventure. Crucial to solving this game's puzzles are exploration, collection and inventory management. Often the use of a single item can mean the difference between getting stuck or progressing, and in the case of "Chapter 5," a train ticket out of Rogueport is one such item.

Instructions

- 1
  Speak to Cortez after defeating him in Chapter 5. His boat will take you from the docks to Keyhole Key.

  Walk through the town square and head to the jungle. Speak with Frankie to hear about his lost wedding ring.

  Head right into the area with the skull-shaped rock formation. Pick up the ring near the large palm tree and return it to Frankie.
- 4
  Head back to the town and enter Don Pianta's office. Speak to Don and he will reward you with a train ticket to Poshley Heights.
- 5
  Board the train to complete Chapter 5.
