How to Use the Speed Boost in Super Monkeyball

"Super Monkey Ball 2" was released for the GameCube in 2002. You will control a monkey in a ball, rolling him around various traps and obstacles to reach the end of each stage. Some stages are races, where you will be racing against the computer to see who can finish the stage the fastest. You can make these races simpler by performing a speed boost as soon as the race begins.

     Select "Monkey Race" from the main menu. Select any stage.

     Press and hold down on the yellow Control Stick on your GameCube controller.

   • 3

     Press and hold up on the Control Stick and the "A" button right before the race begins, when the race counters says 1. If performed correctly, your monkey will receive a speed boost as soon as the race begins.
