How to Unlock Super Smash Melee Characters

"Super Smash Bros. Melee," released for the GameCube video game system in December 2001, features almost a dozen unlockable characters. Different methods exist to unlock each of these characters, but the simplest way is to compete in a series of "Versus" matches. You will unlock a new character once you get to 50 fights, another at 100 fights and one for every 100 fights after that until you finally reach 1,000 fights.
