Del Lago
This fight occurs after you have gotten into a motor boat and driven it out into the lake. Del Lago will drag your boat around, occasionally stopping to turn around and ram your boat, and your only weapon is a harpoon. Hold the "R" button down to bring up a targeting reticule. Wait for Del Lago to come towards the boat, then press "A" when he opens his mouth to swallow your boat. Keep your targeting reticule up when Del Lago is not visible and you will be prompted with an arrow indicating the direction in which he has surfaced. If he does manage to knock you out of the boat, tap "A" repeatedly to outrace him back to your boat. Continue shooting your harpoon into his open mouth when he tries to attack you until Del Lago is defeated.
El Gigante
This giant monster is immensely strong, so your best bet is to avoid him while firing a few shots at a time. Aim for his head if you can, and use your most powerful gun (either a shotgun or pistol if this is your first time through the game). Fire a few times and run to a safe distance. Repeat this until you see a cut scene with a parasite jumping out of El Gigante's back. Approach him after this happens, as he will be momentarily stunned, and press "A" to jump onto his back. You will then be prompted to press either "A" or "B" in rapid succession, so follow the prompts on the screen to attack El Gigante's only weak spot. Do this two more times to defeat El Gigante. If you run into an area with two of these creatures it's best to focus on killing one at a time.
Bitores Mendez
Your best bet is to throw incendiary grenades at this boss when the battle begins. He'll be walking slowly towards you, and if you can time it so that you throw each successive grenade just as the first one burns out, you'll be able to complete the first part of the battle with very little danger to yourself. Bitores Mendez will then start swinging among the ceiling beams, so avoid his attacks while turning around and shooting him with your shotgun whenever possible. If you knock him off a beam with your shotgun he will be temporarily stunned, so use the opportunity to shoot him several more times until he regains his bearings. Keep this up until he is defeated.
Garrador
This boss is blind, so be very careful of any noises you might make. You will attract his attention when you speak, use a weapon or run, so try to walk carefully through his area. There are bells in the area that you can shoot with your pistol to attract Garrador's attention, so shoot them and then shoot Garrador with your more powerful shotgun blasts when he goes to investigate the noise. Stay behind the cover of the pillar in the center of the room, as he won't be able to reach you past it as you shoot him, but be careful to avoid his attack, which can kill you in one hit. Keep shooting him while attracting his attention as little as possible, until he is defeated. If you run into two of these creatures, focus on killing one at a time.
Verdugo
There will be a series of nitrogen canisters scattered around the area where Verdugo attacks. Avoid his attacks, then approach a nitrogen canister and wait by it. Press "A" to knock over the canister when Verdugo approaches and this will temporarily freeze him. Shoot him with your most powerful gun while he is frozen; a magnum, rocket launcher or shotgun is your best bet. Keep doing this while avoiding his attacks until you defeat him. You also have the option to freeze him and run for the exit door, as you don't have to kill this boss to get to the next area.
Salazar
Run all the way to the right when you enter the room with Salazar. He'll be unable to hit you from this position, so you'll have an easy time hitting him in his weak spot (the giant eyeball on his head). Either use a rocket launcher on this weak spot to kill him in one shot or shoot him multiple times with either a shotgun or magnum until he is defeated.
U3
Try to make this boss chase you and lure it to the red explosive barrel. Shoot this barrel when U3 approaches it, being careful to keep far enough away from it to avoid being injured in the explosion. Follow the path behind you and pull the lever to bring a gate crashing down. Shoot him with your shotgun or magnum until he is defeated, as brute force is the best way to take out this boss.
Krauser
There is a three-minute time limit for this boss, and he is able to block most of your attacks. Your best bet is to attack him with your knife, as six stabs will kill him and end the battle. You will need to follow the onscreen prompts and press the corresponding button when he attacks, as he has several attacks that can kill you in one shot if you don't successfully block them.
Saddler
Aim for one of the eyeballs on his body, as they are his weak point. If you hit one Saddler will drop to the ground, giving you time to press "A" to stab him repeatedly. Do this eight times and a friend will throw you a rocket launcher, so make your way to its location and use the rocket launcher on Saddler. One hit will kill him and end the game.
