How to Play Shrek 2 Gamecube

Control the selected character's movement by pressing the left thumb stick in the direction you want to move. Alternatively, you can use the controller's directional pad for movement controls.

Press the "A" button to cause the selected character to jump.

Press the "X" button to launch a basic attack with the selected character. You can perform a jump attack by pressing the "A" button, followed by the "X" button while the character is still in the air.

Press the "Y" button to activate the chosen character's special ability. Every character has a unique special ability.

Press the "B" button to interact with in-game objects or to perform prompted actions.

Press the right or left trigger on the game controller to change the character you are currently controlling.

Watch for an onscreen prompting that informs you that you are entering a "Hero Time" phase of the game, once "Hero Time" begins you must press the "B" button on the game controller in time with the on-screen prompting.

Progress through each game level by completing the onscreen objective to complete the game. At certain points in each level, the game will award you with a checkpoint. If you die after reaching a checkpoint, the game will restart you at that checkpoint, rather than at the beginning of the level.
