How to Get Meta Knight on Kirby Air Ride

"Kirby Air Ride" is a 3-D racing video game that is part of the "Kirby" video game series developed by Nintendo. Meta Knight is the villain of the "Kirby" series and is a secret playable character in "Kirby Air Ride." Meta Knight has the ability to fly higher than all of the colorful characters in the game. He can also smash objects with his sword. Using Meta Knight in the game is a fun experience, but unlocking him requires skill and effort.

Instructions

  Start your game and choose "City Trial" in the main menu of the game. The City Trial mode lets you explore more areas -- such as a cave, volcano and forest -- while grabbing such upgrade items such speed, offense, defense and charges.

  Fly around Trial City and destroy all the crates you can find. The crates come in many colors and are all shaped like cubes. Fly into crevices and in between buildings and towers to locate hidden crates. Speed toward the crates to break them.

  Keep destroying crates until you smash 1,000 crates. It may be difficult to keep count of how many crates you smashed, so just keep smashing crates for one hour. Quit the game and return to the main menu after an hour. Your game will be saved automatically.

  Select "City Trial" in the main menu again. Now you will see Meta Knight as a selectable character. Select Meta Knight as your character. Because Meta Knight flies much higher than Kirby, you will be able to reach more areas in the game.
