My GameCube Memory Card Is Corrupted

The Nintendo GameCube requires a memory card to save your game settings, player levels and more. Without the memory card, you have to restart every game and reenter settings each time. Your memory card can become corrupt if some of the files are damaged. By reformatting the card, you can repair your card and use it again to save your games. Reformatting your card is a quick and simple process that takes minutes to complete.

Instructions

    • 1

Insert your memory card into the memory card slot and turn on your gaming console.

    • 2

    • 3

Select "Yes" using the control stick on your controller and press the "A" button. When prompted, select "Yes" again to confirm and press the "A" button.
