How to Get the Bonsly on Pokemon XD

In Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, the normally friendly creatures called Pokemon have had their hearts locked away by evil forces. As a mysterious trainer, it's up to you to release the lock on the Pokemon's hearts. One Pokemon which can be captured in the game is Bonsly, a creature resembling a walking potted plant. Bonsly, a shy Pokemon, flees from the trainer when first encountered in a ship called the S.S. Libra. After this, you can find Bonsly by placing bait at the three Poke Spots around the world.

Instructions

- 1
  Highlight the S.S. Libra ship on the world map with the directional stick, and then press the "A" button. Walk through the ship until you see Bonsly. When you walk up to him, he becomes frightened and runs from the ship.

  Exit the S.S. Libra, and press "A" to select one of the Poke Spots on the map. At Poke Spots, you are able to lure rare Pokemon out into the open with a few snacks.

  Place some Poke Snacks at the Poke Spot, and then do the same at the other two Poke Spots. Leave the area, and continue playing the game. When Bonsly appears at one of the spots, you receive a notification.

  Exit the area you are currently in to enter the world map, and then press "A" to enter the indicated Poke Spot. You must immediately go to the correct Poke Spot when you receive the notice that Bonsly has appeared. If you wait too long, Bonsly runs away.

  Tilt the control stick gently to walk slowly up to Bonsly. When you reach him, press "A" to capture him.
