How to Unlock the Rocket Nozzle in Super Mario Sunshine

"Super Mario Sunshine" is a game that features the classic Nintendo character, Mario. In the game, Mario finds a FLUDD (Flash Liquidizer Ultra Dousing Device) and travels through levels trying to defeat Shadow Mario, who framed him. You unlock shine sprites throughout the game to earn different upgrades for your FLUDD. The Rocket Nozzle is the last upgrade that will help you complete the levels and achieve more shine sprites.

Instructions

  Ensure you have at least 25 shine sprites.

  Beat Pinna Park in Episode 4. Shadow Mario will appear holding an egg.

  Chase Shadow Mario, spraying him until he gives you the egg.

  Feed the egg a random fruit like it asks, and it will hatch into Yoshi.

  Ride Yoshi, and ascend the building with the clogged pipe.

  Use Yoshi to eat the pineapple at the top.

  Enter the pipe. What you do in this section is not important because you just need to wait until you return.

  Defeat Shadow Mario after he appears again, this time holding the Turbo Nozzle.

  Spray him, just like you did previously. After defeating him, you will gain the Turbo Nozzle.

  Obtain five more shine sprites to bring your total to 30. Shadow Mario will appear in Delfino Plaza holding the Rocket Nozzle.

  Chase after him, and spray him until he gives you the Rocket Nozzle.
