An excellent source of money for Leon Kennedy is finding and selling valuable treasures in "Resident Evil 4." Exotic jewels like the Yellow Catseye, Purple Gem and Green Eye are worth plenty of money when sold to the strange Merchant, but you can earn so much more by placing gemstones into larger treasure pieces. Always keep an eye out for treasure, as the money earned for weapon upgrades will be useful the next time you run into Dr Salvador.

Open the "Keys/Treasures" section of the menu by pressing the Start button.

Choose a gemstone such as a Red Gem, Purple Gem or Green Gem, and press the "A" button when you select the "Combine" option.

Scroll over to a matching combination of treasure that fits the gem and press the "A" button to combine the items.
