List of Animals in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle

"Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" was released in 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube. It features 21 different animals that you can use to help you finish the game. These animals are categorized by color. Each category has its own advantages, and each animal has its own numbered personal traits that indicate how well they swim, fly and run as well as their attack power.

Green
- Green animals specialize in speed. These animals are the boar, the cheetah and the bunny. The bunny has 0 points for swimming, 8 for flying, 40 for running and -16 for power. The boar has -4 for swimming, -12 for flying, 32 for running and 16 for power. The cheetah has -8 for swimming, 8 for flying, 40 for running and 8 for power.
Yellow
- Yellow animals' strength is swimming. The seal, otter and penguin are all swimming animals. The seal has 40 points for swimming, -16 for flying, 0 for running and 8 for power. The otter has 44 for swimming, -4 for flying, 8 for running and -16 for power. Finally, the penguin has 36 for swimming, 12 for flying, 8 for running and -24 for power.
Red
- Red animals have strong attack power. Red animals include the gorilla, the tiger and the bear. The gorilla has -4 points in swimming, -8 in flying, 4 in running and 36 in power. The tiger has -8 for swimming, -16 for flying, 20 for running and 36 for power. Lastly, the bear has eight for swimming, -16 for flying, 4 for running and 36 in power.
Purple
- The purple animals specialize in flying. The condor, parrot and peacock all fly. The condor has 20 points for swimming, 60 for flying, -24 for running and 16 for power. The parrot has 0 for swimming, 48 for flying, -20 for running and 4 for power. The peacock has the same traits as the parrot.
Blue
- The blue animals include the raccoon, sheep and skunk. They have no negative traits. The raccoon has 20 points for swimming, 16 for flying, 4 for running and 8 for power. The sheep has 8 for swimming and flying and 16 for both running and power. The skunk has 8 for swimming, 12 for both flying and power and 16 for running.
Black
- The black animals are ghost or horror animals. These are the half-fish, skeleton dog and bat. These animals have no negative traits. The half fish has 32 points for swimming, 0 for flying, 8 for running and 24 for power. The skeleton dog has 8 for swimming and flying, 32 for running and 16 for power. Finally, the bat has 8 for swimming, running and power and 40 for flying.
Orange
- Orange animals are imaginary animals. These include the unicorn, dragon and phoenix. The unicorn has 16 points for power, 12 for flying, 36 for running and 0 for power. The dragon has 20 for swimming, 4 for flying, 8 for running and 32 for power. Lastly, the Phoenix has 12 for swimming, 32 for flying, 4 for running and 16 for power.
