How to Use the Game Boy Advance on Animal Crossing for GameCube

Instructions

    • 1

Connect the GameCube Game Boy Advance Link Cable to the port of your Game Boy Advance or Game Boy Advance SP. Then connect the other end of the Link Cable into controller slot 2, 3, or 4 of your GameCube.

    • 2

Remove any cartridge that may be in your Game Boy Advance. Power on your Game Boy Advance and then power on your GameCube.

    • 3

Use any of the three applications designed for use with the Game Boy Advance in "Animal Crossing." These applications will be streamed to your Game Boy Advance (therefore, it is crucial that you keep a cartridge out of the system at all times). The applications that use the Game Boy Advance are "Animal Island," an application that allows you to interact with the town's tropical island and island residents; the "Able Sisters" design tool, which is the same toolset used in the Able Sisters tailor shop in the normal "Animal Crossing" game; and the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator, which allows you to play NES games stored in the "Animal Crossing" game on your Game Boy Advance.
