Things You'll Need
Instructions
Clean the disc with a slightly damp cotton cloth. Move toward the edges of the disc instead of a circular direction. Dry the cloth and then repeat the process. Check the disc for scratches, damage or additional dirt. Try the game in another console and check Nintendo's Disc Replacement Policy to see how to replace your disc.
Try playing another disc in your Gamecube. Repeat the same steps used for the initial disc if there is any sign of wear or dirt on the disc. Restart your console to give the new disc the opportunity to load properly. Check to make sure your games are official licensed products. Look on the screen for a "No Game Disc" error.
Consult Nintendo's repair options if multiple discs keep turning up an error or the screen says "No Game Disc." Check the warranty information of your console with Nintendo's website. Fill out a repair form and click "Submit" if every other option has been attempted. Follow the instructions provided by Nintendo in response to your form.
