How to Get a Handcannon in Resident Evil

Resident Evil 4 a stragetical horror survival game for the Nintendo GameCube, Wii and PlayStation 2. In the third-person shooter you must advance levels by killing zombies and finding necessary items, such as keys to unlock doors. Once a player finishes the game, the special Mercenaries mini-game is playable, and consists of shooting as many enemies as possible within a set time limit. With this mini-game, players can also unlock the handcannon weapon.

Instructions

  Complete the entire game for the first time to unlock the Mercenaries mini-game. Go to the main menu of the game and choose the "Mercenaries" option.

  Select the first character that is available and begin the mini-game. Every time you kill any enemy in the Mercenaries mini-game, you will gain points, which vary due to the type of enemy or how many shots it takes you to eliminate them.

  Gain 30,000 points or more by eliminating enemies in the mini-game to unlock another character to play as. Continue playing as each new character until all five characters are unlocked.

  Earn 60,000 points or more to receive a five-star rating for each character. Once you've completed this, you will see a pop-up that lets you know that the handcannon is available from the merchant.

  Go back to the main menu and choose to play a saved file that where the objectives were cleared. Go to the merchant, which a shop available in each level that allows you to buy weapons and other items. You can also go to your inventory of items and select the map to locate the nearest merchant shop in that area.

  Enter the merchant shop, and you'll see that the handcannon is available in the list of items to buy. Click on the handcannon, and it will go into your weapon inventory for use in the main game and the Mercenaries mini-game.
