Things You'll Need
Instructions
Insert the GameCube memory card into the A slot on the GameCube or Wii, and insert the Action Replay card into the B slot.
Put the included Action Replay disc into the game console, then switch the system on and wait for the menu screen to load.
Choose the "Action Replay Codes" option, then select the flag that represents the game disc's country of origin.
Scroll through the game database to locate the game you are playing. The Action Replay disc includes a number of games and cheats already loaded, so ensure the cheats you are trying to add aren't already available with the Action Replay. When you find the game, press "A," then scroll through the available cheats. If you find the one you want, press "A" to select it, then skip to Step 11. Otherwise, press "B" to back out to the database menu.
Scroll to the top of the game database. At the top, you will see "- ADD NEW GAME -." Select it with "A," and type the title of the game, and a number, such as V1.1, to differentiate it from another game in the database.
Scroll down to your game title in the game database and press "A" to select it.
Select "- ADD NEW CODE -" and type in the game's master or "(m)" code, which is available online. When entered, press "Done" on the keyboard. You will return to the game's code screen. If the "(m)" symbol is green, you have entered the code correctly--if not, re-enter the code.
Go back to "- ADD NEW CODE -" and type in a code you plan to use in the game. You can find the game's Action Replay codes online. Repeat for all codes.
Select the codes you want to turn on by pressing "A" to check the check boxes. Pressing "A" again deselects the code.
Press "B" to back out to the Action Replay main menu. When there, select "Start Game."
Open the lid and insert the game disc into the console when prompted. Close the lid and play. The game will load with the codes you have selected.
